There is no doubt that BTC will still be the King before its the first crypto that reaches every corner of the globe. Many have tried but they all failed. And now they are trying to clone which somewhat divide the market. I think it bring harm in the ecosystem because investors now will have other options besides bitcoin. But I think majority will just stick to BTC because its already trusted and its been with us for quite sometime now.

No, it won't divide the market as I look at it. Only a small percentage with stay with BCC or BTG and those have a high stake on that coin. No casual investors will put cash on them because they are just altcoin and we know that altcoins (or most of them for that matter) is just for pump and dump only. Although BCC is trading at $360. Its going on a downward trend. It will be likely the case for BTG, when we all get the free coins, we will dump it and go and stick to bitcoin market. And then those coins will enjoy a roller coaster ride but won't be as valuable as bitcoin.
