Yeah thats the right way to transfer coins to the family of the passed person and there must be a form at the start signup of the wallet that to the trust worthy information and one must have to share private key with him so that after him in time of need there will be no difficulty for the money and if this system will be implemented then every coin will be safe and they will definitely delivered to their owners lefts.

I think in real it can be possible to have a form and through a proper way you can transfer your assets to your dear or your children and other family member, but I think case of bitcoin or any other currency the option option you have to share your private key to your family, we usually do share our secret information with our wife our children and in fact they are the real insister of your assets. so through this way we can transfer our bitcoin to the right person.
