There will always be a corrrection following such surges of price growth.

Even though price did went up another $200-300 per coin or so, i don't think the decision that you made was wrong, personally. You got a good price for your coins and altcoins are currently somewhat undervalued, and may bounce back soon.

Just need some luck mate.

Yeah, I do think that flipping back into alts is the right move. Bitcoin Gold is a big gamble with little value but high risk.
