Such posts are unauthorized whent they are not asked. Some campaigns require proof of authentication posts, to prove that you really own the bitcointalk account you're linking to your social media account/email address.

I personally asked the question to mprep and he answered me the same thing he wrote in his forum post: it is fine when it is needed.
