Cryptopay.me and almost every other bitcoin debit card providers are using wavecrest (mychoice) as their card issuer but mychoice cards doesn't work in non-EU countries so cards from them are pretty useless if you want to start your own bitcoin debit card service.

In the past, Wavecrest allowed the functionality of debit cards for customers outside the European territory until this year September. Therefore, for customers outside of the EU, like the United States, the bitcoin debit cards provider is partnering with the country card issuer to guarantee that they are also eligible to get the card.
