That's not true, maybe bitcoin and ethereum are ahead of the race but I believe the entire crypto will be more progressive if both bitcoin and legitimate altcoins will rise. Blockchain technology have a future because it's the future, we are lucky to be part now and as an investor we have a chance to make money with what we are holding.

Yeah it is very important for the growth of the bitcoin to get it and to be with the bitcoin because he bitcoin investors will increase so the profit and the arranging of the bitcoin will also increase so it is the time to get in the bitcoin and to buy the huge amount of the bitcoin in very short time, the importance of the bitcoin is the major the value will be more high as much as the time changing.

However, it dose not mean the value of Bitcoin will be more high after a long time. You also know just after the Bitcoin Gold hardfork ended made many people sold their Bitcoin and dumped the price of Bitcoin. So, I think it still depends many much in the mentality of investors.
