I think investing in bitcoin will be more beneficial . If we see the market now , all other altcoins have faded in front of bitcoin . I think the amount you are investing is not very huge and there might be very negligible profits using it .
The time for investing in bitcoin is best as it is hiking everyday . But all other altcoins must be avoided in such case.

Yes it was more beneficial in bitcoins because it has more potential rather than invest in ethereum with a small amount of price increase in the market.
