Dear Twinkledoe, no need to pay for Geos. Geos is FREE and OPEN social network for all people.
Difference with Google maps. Google maps is about static places. Geos is about events (social activities) which has place and time. Geos uses Google maps for visualization points. Google maps is not the only one way for visualization place points. Geos will also use AR (augmented reality) to find nearby events points through the camera.
Geos is under development now. One of the goals of pre ico is to finish development of prototype.
