Probably he was not really sure of himself. However, it is not every kind of jobs that would pay you very well for your time. I see a lot of people solving captchas with their time when there are so many things they can do with those times to earn more. It is not only about working hard but also about working smart. Do things to make you earn more with lesser or same time than things that would only be a waste of time and resources.
