QVT token is utility token, it actually has a real use case. Traders pay for tariffs in order to execute trades on a platform. This economic system is way more efficient and cheaper than compared to localbitcoins (just an example).

But what you are talking about is a security. If company paying you some interests and dividends thought its native tokens - that company will have problems with Howey test. You will have problems with SEC and potentially your token will be delisted from exchanges who don't want troubles and so on.
