As of today, the gap between bitcoin and ethereum is so wide that it will take serious event against bitcoin and in favour of Ethereum for both of the to be sell at the same market value. Despite the fact that ethereum has more advance technology is till has a long way to go, for it to be of the same value with bitcoin in the nearest future.

5 years can be a game changer as eth have so many things to develop while btc are still getting a lots of support, if hacked inside eth wallet can be solved and if development with btc stop I guess eth can surpass what btc already achieved its only "if" everything went smoothly with the development of eth after 5 years.
