It's because bitcoin is convenient to use, it's easy to pay or send money through bitcoin compared when sending or paying with fiat money. Not just that bitcoin is convenient, it is also profitable because it's price is volatile, it can multiply multiple times depending on it's market demand.

Exactly! Everyone has his own way of looking up at the things. There will be lot number of people who will prefer paper money over bitcoin. The thing is the ones who really know about bitcoin will never ever think of placing paper money at higher place than that of bitcoin. The reason is quite obvious. Bitcoin is far better than that of paper money in number of ways. There is no match of bitcoin.

I think people prefer bitcoin over fiat because it is with them fiat is mostly in your bank and you do not know what they are doing with it but bitcoin is always with you safe in your wallet and you exactly know what is happening with it and when.
