agreed i think it really boils down to hobby / home mining vs commercial mining and number of rigs involved. for 10 rigs or less one might consider algo switching  to maximise profit but i feel 20 rigs above which is totally a different ball game. no point switching as uptime is crucial plus switching too frequently i feel might put strain on hardware. not sure if it holds true but i guess the saying slow and steady has some truth in it, by that i don't mean running stock settings  Grin but rather efficiently overclocked settings  Cool

i will consider NH as well, thanks for the sound advice @citronick.

For someone on citronick's scale it might be alot of money extra from profit switching, the extra might even pay for a full time salary and change to manage rigs/switching.

For me I went for ultra low operation cost/maintenance. Farm overseas in a cheap rent/electricity area and I only fly back 2-3 months to troubleshoot any issues. I don't mind being 5-10% off the most profitable coins especially if it use less heat, because stability = profit. Everything runs below 80% of limit. I also don't undervolt till the edge of stability.

I got less than 110 cards, mostly 1080ti, some polaris and vega.

Really happy with Eth pump since it's my main holding. I develop applications on the ethereum blockchain, so my view is somewhat biased, but hold some eth Smiley

Also I bought one Vega frontier edition. Arriving this weekend. Let's see if double the ram increases hash rate in any way.
