I emailed the link off their site and received a response the day before the "accounts before Friday". I suspect others emailed and got a response as well. Silent treatment is defined as not posting information on this web forum? They did post the day of the preorders and addressed a couple issues. It wasn't radio silence.

I don't agree necessarily about the hiding part. Maybe amateurs, but amateurs with a working prototype and design. More than I can say for BFL when they took in money. They took in money with an idea and a few resources and built their platform from scratch; hence why it took nearly a year to deliver the product.

Everything didn't go south. They had many forms of acceptable payment; part of being a good business person. Paypal didn't work that great after a while, but I'm sure they'll resolve the issues.

Sorry I don't agree with your position. I can see where you might be coming from... but I'm sure they're under a great deal of stress right now trying to line everything up so this process runs smoothly. I can only imagine what their inbox and PM list looks like right now. Managing expectations is the key factor to a successful project like this. Something BFL really shit the bed on... This "two weeks" shit from BFL is exactly what I'm talking about.

I guess what I'm saying is give these guys a chance to be successful. Much of what you posted was conjecture based on assumptions.
