Everytime you buy eth , you are putting money into the most powerful network that currently exists...And the potential for that network is endless... Yes i think ethereum has a potential in the future after all it is the second most used digital currency to bitcoin, also its price is not that volatile, I think it is the right time to store some of it while the market is falling, eth has grown so much since last year , I think it will be like last year again, you can assure huge profits with ethereum so why stay away from it?
