Holding on to bitcoin forever guarantees you won't reach the peak and you could end up worse than when you started depending on how the market performs and whether there are big crashes.

Having a goal or plan is the best thing to have in order to make things happen because if you will just wish for something that you don't have then you just need to realize that it is better to just accept the fact that you need to set something before you can make it happen. Holding is not greedy as long as you know what you are trying to do.
