Yes, you will get a new address after each transaction, for privacy sake, so no one can see whats your complete stack. The old one will continue to function and is tight to your HD wallet recoverysentence.

But the client doesn;'t list this address anymore? How do you know which addresses you once owned?

In your transaction history you can see the addresses you received the coins too. The dev said the system has moved to accounts as it's more user friendly. This was part of the 1.6.0 release 1 year ago. It made it possible to link your Android and iOS wallets to a mobile account on desktop . You can control all your mobile wallet funds from your desktop wallet too. One day they might market some of the cool features they have done already.

Instead coins that copy bitcoin and eth with some marketing are destroying Guldens marketcap. This says to me the days of innovation being rewarded is over. We will know for sure when PoW2 and SegSig release.
