Currently the highest price for LTC is on coinbase(actually GDX) by about $50+ more than most other exchanges, if you also look at the total percent of Monero's daily volume...

you will notice that a fairly significant amount of ltc is being used on polo to buy Monero directly and at a significant premium. It appears that people are buying ltc to avoid the fees of btc, sending it to Polo to purchase Monero.

We really need to make this easier for people to spend fiat for Monero!

Ofcourse to get on Coinbase is huge, that is why people talk for a year about it. LTC was $4 before got listed there and latest price growth would be impossible without Coinbase. Monero will get there. All at the right time.
