The emergence of new alts from hard fork bitcoin will make the alts continue to grow and have a good exchange rate also I guess. But alts coin that I think I can count on for the long term is ETH and BCH, there are other alts, but I would rather choose those two coins.

I don't like fork coins and I don't trust them. But I trust projects like iota, litecoin ethereum classic, ripple, ardor, waves, neo, omg, lisk and so on. They have the potential for the future.

Well, I dont think all of these coins have good potential of ruling the world after bitcoin but definitely some of the coin you have mentioned are worth buying like waves, neo and litecoin. Waves is doing great among altcoins followed by these two coins. So investing in them gives you sense of security whereas going for every new project is really stupid thing. In this way you only lose money.
