This is my own strategy
I buy the bitcoin BTC whenever money is available
but I invest in other altcoins and try to profit against the Bitcoin and not the Dollar

I do the same. I try to generate some money by doing free lance working and whatever I earn I buy btc and use it to invest alt coins as they can grow way faster comparing to btc. most of them are pumped at least once and dumped. I try to catch those pump moments.
