Yes another great question. The transaction fee's will be determined by the application owner (game developers). Any transaction fees will be transparent and visible to all users who will need to confirm they accept it. So this will discourage bad actors from putting in massive fees. We are considering putting a limiter on it, however this can only be determined through real world testing. It wouldn't make sense for us to say "It will be fixed at a maximum of 10%" because in the real world, the community will lead on that decision.

Yeah,some other coins are much faster and have less fee. BTC was the first,but it wont be the one for everyday use.
