Yes, You shouldnt definetly do that. Many exchanges have active notices up suggesting against using exchange wallet for anything else than just buying Your favorite asset.
Coinexchange had trouble with part of the their wallet being stuck in staking because people used their exchange wallet for mining. This problem is resolved for a long time now, but still using exchange wallet for mining is very bad practice.
