It relates to time in how long it takes to find that many shares. The higher the hash rate the less time it takes and the lower the hash rate it takes more time. It is variable.

So the open shifts are 5 times 9,365,527,376,108 for this difficulty period. How long a period of time that is depends on the pools hash rate.

E.g. "sum of my diffs" / "current difficulty"? (I have to admit that those diffs confuse the s**t out of me)
