Altcoins will always get affected by what direction Bitcoin moves into, which should be clear by now after all the time we have seen it happen. It's smart and logical thinking that allows you to utilize Bitcoin's volatility. True, and prices may go up in the next few days since after the correction the alts have been pretty high since you are correct in sayin that altcoins are directly affected by bitcoin prices. I do think if bitcoins are this low and alts this high, then there is no longer equilibrium. So I think it is high time for people to switch back to bitcoins just to get ready for the pump for $20,000 as a start to the new year.
