The best way to prevent you from loosing your token is to stop it, you see yourself as not productive on that, then how can you still be happy on that situation. Gambling is ok but if you feel bad on it then stop it, at least you save yourself from greed always do it at your own risk.

That is quite true, gambling is not something you should be addicted to and try to profit from. Gambling is just some sort of way to entertain yourself. Well, think about it like drugs. Drugs actually make you feel good, but too much of it gets you addicted. That is why it is banned by governments. The chance of getting addicted to drugs is pretty high and not everybody has a high tolerance to addiction. If you just play for fun, then the chances of you getting addicted is quite lower.

There is no spell that can make you stop gambling and suddenly make you recover what you lost, while you were gambling. Best way to gamble and not loose everything is to make asset class allocation, it's something most of the gamblers don't do and they end up paying a huge price. This way, you define your gambling limit and you only play that much and come back later if it's your bad day.

Controlling of emotions, that is it but mostly of the gamblers are cant control their emotions because of greed, mostly of greed after winning a huge money or lossing a lot of money that they think they could get it back. Those people that is addicted to gambling will like mostly they cant control their self on it. If there will be a gambler that is playing but still lossing and have a bad day they end up quiting and getting back by tomorrow to try their luck will be most of the best gamblers and most likely to win .

I think it would have made more sense if you have used greed instead of emotions because the only reason for which they continue their journey of gambling after great losses is greed. Emotions are not the part of a gamblers life because if they had emotions, they wouldnt have continued gambling after seeing that how much their families have to suffer from their bad doings and returning empty handed.
