Same problem here- anyone home to assist with this question? If I move my cursor over the wallet icon, my cursor turns into a spinning blue (not responsive) circle..If I click it I get a windows message asking if I want to close or wait... What do we do?

the bootstrap takes hours to validate the chain/blocks, even if it looks freezed, it isn't. Please, just be patient and let it run.
No wallet syncs instantly. This is a typical process. And still a 3.5 y/o chain so quite some blocks.

There are no problems. Just be patient.
