Dev tried to discuss his idea with bitcoin devs and was rejected hard, so he abandoned the discussion. That doesn't change fact that XRB consensus is broken and vulnerable to serious attacks. No serious exchange can list XRB due to this. Price is pure (and crazy) speculation.
