Here's a better question for you: Why would I use CoinStarter, a random platform run by randoms, whose main purpose is to get more people scammed by fraudulent ICOs (naturally, more ICOs -> more fraudulent ICOs)?

well, i think an individual would use the "random platform" because it is useful. i suppose assuming the founders of the project are involved in some sinister plot to scam everyone is one argument. i prefer to believe that i am smart enough to see a scam when i see one and avoid it myself, rather than being told I MUST NOT PARTICIPATE by some authority. but hey, i guess im just a free-spirited guy.

i do think there are advantages to creating a more streamlined user friendly launch pad... almost like the equivalent of web developing WYSIWYG tool.

I think making sweeping statements about "greed" is a bit misguided and definitely feels like it has some passionate negative connotation behind it.
