I understand the tech comes first as it should, but in a market absolutely flooded with news, coins, projects, drama, ignorance and deceit tech alone barely speaks for itself. Most people don't understand bitcoin, then most the people that understand the gist of bitcoin barely get privacy coins or care. Currently we're left with a subset of a subset of a smaller subset as a base. Some serious effective marketing and touting the WHY of the tech needs to be blasted out there. No exaggerations, no BS pumps just simple explanations of why this project can be the best in the space.

Unless I'm just out of the loop and there IS a huge push planned to market once a soft re brand or jump in features happens something needs to be done there. I understand not wanting to be considered a pump and dump. But there's an effective middle ground where hyping and spreading the word of real tech, real goals achieved and a realistic road map can achieve marketing goals without ever labeling the project as pumped.

Marketing needs to have a trailing pace with the tech to keep up with the market. It will simply be too hard to leap frog or legitimately compete with older leaders once certain levels of maturation happen in the market share. Gotta play both sides of the ball here. Offense and defense.

edit: even stuff like "Operation Radical Transparency" won't mean much if the viewing audience doesn't grow substantially.

I aggree that many coins shouldn't have so much value... but why not make marketing all the time and not wait that something will be done? Good marketing team, smart marketing manager without product write on page short info about plans... and add form where people add emails (they are building email database) + start PR to bring attention. There is no need to finish everything and then tell people about it... marketing should work also "before", not only "after" is something done.

Zencash marketing have problem with "before" (no marketing at all) and also "after" (inactive, passive marketing /team use mainly not so effective ways in marketing Sad

alpha, beta... then other thing team will make... it deasn't matter if it is beta or alpha or whatever. You can advertise even you have only plans - smart company do it always and from the start! There is no need to use false promises... Marketing should tell truth but also should tell about plans.... There is nothing wrong with pump schemes (problem is only when coin is scam), such situation bring people attention, many people will read about this platform... Investors also will be happy because it will bring people, value, attention to this platform and to their pockets also in the same time

Don't You understand that make zencash much more popular asap (without waiting for anything) will help in many aspects... for example it will help also to be on other exchanges because more people will ask for it, more people will vote, You will have more $ to pay exchanges, more people will talk on popular places so it will bring new people etc... Really i do not understand why not use effective marketing to bring more value (price) for zencash. You made some changes in marketing but still it is 5% what should be done. You have many people in the team from many countries, You only need 1 smart person who use many different ways to tell world about zencash (using also people from Your team because now they are not so active and effective in marketing). Last time when i wrote about it we had rank about 105... earlier we were in top100.

I still believe that you will change the approach to marketing and zencash team will be much more smart in this area. Now marketing is only managing (support) and conferences. It's time to start doing real advertising and noise on the market
