Bitcoin had similiar jump from the 1000 to 4000 dollars and it didnt returned anymore, there isnt just one reason to price going down thats mercatox issues and kucoin issues, always when there is some exchange issue market does react with a dump. To be able to recover your walet from the seed you need to let the wallet to full sync, after those just import the seed and wait it might take some minutes to update those, then just go into accounts and if you had used more then one just create till you get the account with balance.
