I have the zip file downloaded and created a sprouts folder for it but when I attempt to runt he application it my computer continuously shows the loading screen. Am I doing something wrong? I attempted twice but have had no luick 10 minutes later it is still loading. Any help would be greatly appreciated.


The snapshot links provided in the original post from  18 Aug 2017 does not exist anymore, it was changed at the start of January 2018 by KikloV. Until we can have a new snapshot, you will need to download the whole blockchain to sync.
Please do not use the links provided for the snapshot, they are wrong now and have Zeitcoin Snapshot.

Excuse me for my ignorance, as I am new to crypto currencies and trying to learn quickly. When you say I need to download the entire blockchain to sync, could you give me any instructions or guidance as to where or how to do that? I apologize for asking such question most people know the answer to. I just don't want to leave my coins in coinsexchange for an extended period of time, as their website/ server is very slow and under maintenance off and on.
