Staking is very good right now. My staking wallet is out preforming my masternodes. Each time you stake you get 50% of the reward (0.45) neos . It can take a few weeks to get up to the wallets full income but once it does it started rolling in fast.

How many coins are required to get daily reward?
Is it better to divide coins by coin control to be more efficient?

here is the way it was explained to me:

For every "input" you have you get a "raffle ticket". Inputs are groups of 100 coins or more. If the input is over 200 coins the input splits into two "raffle tickets" at the time of stake. Each "raffle ticket" is a winner sooner or later. The longer your raffle ticket takes to win, the more likely it is to be "drawn" (Stake). I am not sure how to manually format these if its even possible.

POS coupled with Masternodes is a very efficient way to secure a blockchain with out all the wasted electricity.
