SA have started this test match with a strong and they are already 233 runs with just 3 wickets felt. Amla is playing at 75 and will make the century tomorrow so I think SA will be aiming to reach near 500 runs + and will try to make India all out as quickly as possible to put them a follow if possible.

South Africa have converted a very strong position into an average one. Nowadays, run outs are very rare in test cricket. It is just not worth taking the risk. South Africa managed to get two batsmen run out, resulting in them ending the day at 269/6. This after they were in a very strong position of 148/2. The match is evenly poised now.

We cannot say its poised because still first day and already they manage 270 runs on board Du plessi is on he can bat with tale enders until end of inning and reach the target of 350 + this could be also very good score for them as Indian still need to bat very good here in these conditions
