It is paid in term of tokens. So it is also exposed to price varies when the tokens reached the open market. I would suggest you do your own due diligence when joining the bounties to make sure that the tokens are worth it.

The token is based on ico price. However, when the token is issued and is available for open market trading, it will be subjected to price movement in the exchanges. This is the same for all altcoin bounties.
