Some are impossible to read. Like bank whitepapers 100 pages with lots of technical.

But some are easy to read like 25 pages, enough technicality.

Yes, and if english is not your native language, you cant read quickly over the pages. Sad

I usually watch a short review or introduction video of a project before I decide whether a project sounds interesting enough to me to read the whitepaper. Because if you really wanna learn as much as possible about a project, there is no other way than reading the whitepaper in my opinion.
