I don't find using "Bitcoin" deceptive. No one owns the name Bitcoin and it is a symbol of decentralization and freedom. Who are you to say when, and if some one can use an alteration of the Bitcoin name? Plus these hard forks are direct decedents of Bitcoin, just as how a child would use the same last name as their parents. So Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, etc are justified.

Actually, theymos has a financial incentive to allow their advertisement, since, assuming they outbid others, it would increase revenue for the forums.
