I feel sorry to those who sold their bcc coin during the mayhem and congrats to those who bought coins from the panicking ones. They already earned more than times 10 of their investment.
But isn't this a scam though ?

When we say scam, they ran out of all your money. Bitconnect did not do that, in fact, your interest and all are in your BCC wallet and available for trade. The price of the coin goes down because of all the FUD and panic going around.
How can they have your bitcoins without selling their BCC? They never took any bitcoins apart from in the ICO (in their exchange other users were selling and buying off each other to get BCC for loans or sell it and cash out). Hopefully they profited on their exchange too. They should have sold at least some of their BCC as they always paid back less to people in the lending than they received (so the difference was all profit) and this doesn't even include all they staked.
