Unless there's some secret network going I'd say it's already dead. I don't think I've had many (or even any) peers connected in like a year.

I do get the occasional connection to another IP, but based on the number of blocks they report (and no actual exchange of block data) I think it's a different coin.

If anyone here has a starcoin client - how many blocks are you showing? I have 777855 with the last block being in May 2014.
