As btc is the mother of all cryptos every coin even eth is kind of dependant

Because there has to be a 3rd market correction to have a 4th. Ive been in this game since 2011...its volatile, you have to lose 50% (and HODL) to gain 100%, look at the charts year after year. We had a painful start in the beginning, but its finally here to stay and actually pretty reliable/predictable. No one has a crystal ball for sure, but the trends are there just like there are trends to watch in the stock market. One thing is for sure, this year the rules have changed now that wall street and is involved. Wall street is adapting their market strategies to how crypto swings, and now we (oldschool cryptos) are having to deal with new market strategy as the status quo is changing. Later this year as infrastructure and application catches up, and when grandma can buy and trade her 401k in altcoins using her iphone, we will enter the golden age of Crypto. But right now wallstreet and new inexperienced traders have swarmed the trading platforms and we need the dust to settle. The reality is there is always a growing period for this type of stuff...the gold rush phase (which we are in now), the dot com bubble (which is a few years out...think of this as 1991 right now not 1998), and then the industrial/golden age where everything slowly comes up and is robust and the market levels out like NASDAQ and S&P. As for everything being tied to BTC...I doubt the future is really great for BTC. Yes it was the genesis (and owed its credit) and its still got some time to mature some still, but its a dinosaur and if the growth of computers and internet is any indicator, dinosaurs die or at least get put out to pasture...just ask Packard Bell, Compuserve, Compaq, Tigerdirect, AOL, NetZero, MySpace, Napster.... all once giants, now just footnotes in history.
