The broken PSU is no longer a factor. I bought and installed the new Corsair, which gave me the red error light and 0 Gh/s. The corsair box was already open when I bought it, meaning it had already been returned. I returned it today, in case it was defective, and am now using an Enermax Platimax 1200.
