I've put a fair amount of thought into this project (and some mining power) and I agree, I don't think we can call it a scam as such, but we can call it a "sham". Why? Because this team has hijacked the SegWit2X name and attempted to profit from it. This is why HitBTC is trading different to Exrate prices, because HitBTC have been trading futures on the SegWit2X team involved in the New York conference. This SegWit2X team has literally NOTHING to do with the other SegWit2X team, hence a large amount of suspicion, confusion, different prices etc etc.

If only they'd called it another name, hey why not call it B4X?? why not Mickey-Mouse coin? why not Take-Me-To-The-Moon coin, who cares?? Call it anything, but don't associate with the SegWit2X name. Seriously, don't hijack another team's name and not expect to be doubted as to your credentials.

Calling it SegWit2X was a grave error, and expecting the wider crypto community to get on board with it is..optimistic at best, however you spin it.

No it´s a Scam!
1. They use this Name for some reason, to let the people think the SegWit2X is back.
2. and this is the part where it´s a scam! They post on the Website a few exchanges that accept B2X, only on HitBTC was a coin with the Name B2X, but it´s not this coin.

Posting false information to get people in a Project it´s Scaming, you can turn it around and up or down, Scam is Scam!

3. They calculate the Value of the Coin how they want, not how is the market. until now they say the coin is 1000$.

OK, i will give everyone 10$ when they send me 1000$, how this listen? . . . . . SCAM

4. FaKe News! Why ? . . . Scam! on 17. or 20. Jan they wrote that B2X is now accepted on ChangeNow, i don´t see it on the exchange.

OK, the coin is real, the coin was a fork, but where is the promise that they use the 2mil premine to give to the user, a lot people ask this and the dev team never respond.

WOW, they have found a new Exchange, i never listen this name before, ok Europe is not South America, but why not fix Yobit?
Yobit is maybe not the best exchange but they have this B2X fork, and there are enough power in Yobit to give this coin maybe a little volume!

There are so many things the Dev´s must change or do, that they get out of the Scam area, 1st they must learn to work together with the community and respond to questions.

OK on 3. i make a small mistake it´s 100 not 1000$, but its the same when posting the Hackathon Challenge, the coin was < 35$
now its under 20 and you still post the reward calculation with 100$ a coin, it´s not fair and not correct.
Say only its 700B2X or 1200 B2X and then it´s OK!
Here in the Forum are People that ask at HitBTC, you can see it, the B2X ticker was added for the Orig. Launch of SegWit2X(HitBTC News), and it´s not this fork, this wrote the support.
I was on all other sites, that you have on your mainpage and there is(was) no ticker for B2X, or they have deposit/withdraw deactivated(Maintainance)

OK, the new Exchange has it, but i don´t think a lot people can read portuguese!

You have YoBit on your Site the fork is done, It´s your Job that YoBit open the Wallet and make trading possible!

Or you must make clear on your Site, that this are Exchanges that will accept B2X one day in the future.

On your Website you let everybody think, that this coin can be Trade on all this Exchanges and this is false.

Only 2 from 5 Exchanges, are working! I count the new one as working, because can´t check it out!

you have make the fork, there are nodes, you can mine the Coin! so the Network is working.

You need the Community, i´am happy that someone respond, because i have read all the 90+ pages, and there are many Questions to the devs, and they never get a respond.
I see it as a 1. step in the right way!

and when you only calculate that B2X is 5$ you have enough coins(Money), to buy a place in the big exchanges
