These are basically military-grade microSD cards that should hold information for at least 10 years. Most USB / microSD flash drives will degrade and not retain their memory for anywhere near that length of time.

Nice info, I'll need to get me one of those special cards for long term storage. I'd have to imagine there are better prices though, $20/512mb?

That's accurate, just confirmed the address via an old bookmark I had.

I visited that website quite a few times over the course of a 6 month period (before finding Bitcointalk) in hopes it would come back online Cheesy
