No one here has recommend banning the LGBTs. Please don't spread fake news. This is the typical behavior of the liberals and I can't condone that. We were discussing about legalizing same-sex marriages, and not about banning the LGBTs. Only a few nations, such as Saudi Arabia and Kuwait explicitly ban homosexuality.

Absence of legalizing equals to banning in the eye of lawyer, especially in some national precedent-based law codes. I'm not sure what "liberalism" would mean here, this word is constantly getting stylicstically tainted by populists. In some countries (sorry for this side info) pro-governmental guys call "freaking liberalists" those who just try to climb up from the rusted system of the past.
