I've noticed variance between how much overclocking I can eek out of my cards on different motherboards. However I always assumed it was more a function of the CPU clock speed and memory. Is that not what you've been finding?

No. The issue is Im using the exact same components and the same settings and the hash rate performance is lower on the D3 mobo.
