As long as there are countries that are still in a 3rd world level, and there are people who die or hunger and poverty, we cannot expect fiat currency to crash. Not all people have access to the world wide web, so we cannot phase out cash and fiat currencies.

Though people are from developed states, but still they dont have any idea about digital currencies. It is not totally about belonging to developed or underdeveloped countries. Indeed, it is true that developed states has more chances of going cashless and there are maximum chances that soon they will totally shift to plastic money and virtual currencies. They have net facility at cheap rates and in some smart cities, internet is totally free. Underdeveloped still need century to reach this level.
