I think it will be much lower than that $5-8k for ETH... if we look at market price at this unfavourable moment, it will be hard for any coins to rise again and reach their price at the beginning of 2018, or maybe early february.
I think ETH will struggle to reach $2k in this year.. maybe $2-3k is the best we can hope for ~
