Yes, this time is really bad for Oyster. The price dropped dramatically, like being dying. Perhaps, dev have another plan to improve and make it great again as previously, tokens that are favored by traders.

To an outsider though, it's all the same and they only know BTC from the news (fud) that it is dangerous, only used by criminals & fluctuates a lot...

Hopefully Oyster will distinguish itself as not just an 'alt' but even more like an ecosystem that exists on itself.

I think that a few more years must pass before the altcoins are less dependent on the BTC. At the moment the situation is that when the BTC falls, all the alcoins falls, when the BTC grows the alcoins again fall and only when bitcoin is stable the alcoins begin to grow.
