You didn't even stated your opinion to compare in OP's opinion but rather give others opinion in comparison. Your answer is very general. You must not quote OP post if you will not answer it directly but just post a message here in general so it will not be misleading.

Anyway, The best way to do when you encounter negative profit is a case to case basis on when you bought that particular coin. For example. If you bought on the peak price and suddenly the price dump 5-10% due to FUD, It is better to cut loss because it is still early. You can buy back again once the price reach the floor. But if you are late and loss almos 50% of your capital then that is the best time to hold since selling will not gonna give you any chance to regain your loss.
