Family support and religion become the primary help for addicted gambler since it's difficult to do it without any help of people around.
I have my neighbours but they have different fate , first one , the gambler finally recovered because their family was support him meanwhile the second was commit to suicide !

This is the possible outcome when you are really broke and too addicted with gambling, worse part is after seeing that you can't control your emotions and too much stress was been brought by heavy gamble then corruptions inside your minds will followed, better to seek personal help with either your friends or family relatives aside from seeking psychological medications and treatment.
