Yes, this coin was created as a joke and now it's a ridiculous coin. I will quote the statement of one person that I recently found

"BTC = reserve currency for people that hate the fed;
ETH = reserve currency for people that hate the SEC;
XMR = reserve currency for people that hate big brother;
Dogecoin = reserve currency for people who dont care about money"

So True. The coin itself is as worthless as Mint, but with the coin on so many pump lists, I dont ever see it going away.
